Looking at my background, I realize how blessed I am to have been led toward a career where I can help others around me. Family is a big part of my life and as such, is where my journey begins. I recall moments in my grandmother's kitchen as she would bake cookies while preaching financial wellness. I joke that I knew what an IRA was before I even made it to High School. Her home on Topwood Court will forever remain a warm memory and is the basis of my company's name.
I enlisted in the US Navy and quickly found myself with two tours under my belt. The desire to help others led to my entry into the police department. As an officer with St. Louis County, Mo, and then Baltimore City, Md, I was able to help my communities by serving and protecting.
Life and family had other plans and in 2017, I switched careers to insurance and finance. Building on the foundation my grandmother provided, I was able to continue to help others, but this time with their insurance, retirement, and investment needs,
